Mary Thomas graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree (Hons) and has more than 8 years experience in the field of Intellectual Property.

Prior to joining Ella Cheong Spruson & Ferguson, Mary had worked in a large law firm and managed the Intellectual Property portfolio in over 60 countries for a multi national pulp & paper company. Her experience in this field range from prosecution of trade mark applications to investigating and settling trade mark infringement matters in Spain, South America, China, Japan, Indonesia and Philippines.

At ECSF, Mary is involved in the prosecution of both local and international trade mark and design applications. She also advises on trade mark opposition and infringement matters relating to the Asean region as well as handles domain name registrations.
