Minh graduated from a joint program between the National University of Singapore and Eindhoven University of Technology with a Master of Technological Design degree, specialising in Product Development. Before joining ECSF, Minh worked in an R&D role at a medical device company where he was technical project leader of a new product development project and further improved a product concept, resulting in a US continuation patent application. His Thesis project on global product development won the Certificate of Merit and Best Thesis awards.

Minh also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from the National University of Singapore. In recognition of his academic achievements, Minh received full-time scholarships at all levels of his education.
