Patent Agent Traineeships – (PhD CHEMIST)

Ella Cheong Spruson & Ferguson Pte Ltd (ECSF) is a leading firm of Patent and Trade Mark Agents headquartered in Singapore, and has a direct presence in Malaysia. ECSF also operates through a network of agents in other countries in Asia. Singapore has a burgeoning IP environment, and there are great opportunities for high calibre patent attorneys to join ECSF to undertake this challenging and original work. Due to the growing demand for technology protection in Singapore and regionally, we are expanding our Patent Department.

We are looking for PhD graduates in medical chemistry and other related chemical backgrounds willing to be trained as a Patent Agent/Attorney and to undertake legal studies to qualify as a Singapore Patent Agent, which typically takes 3-5 years of on the job training.

Candidates must have a very good command of written and oral English, and should possess strong analytical, creativity and interpersonal skills.
